Founded in 2009 and built on a family timber heritage dating back to 1836, Allied combines generations of material knowledge with modern engineered building systems, technical support, global sourcing and supply-chain capability.

We work closely with builders and construction professionals while supplying merchants and manufacturers with products designed for modern construction.
The business is led by brothers Stephen and Kieran Chehab from our head office and warehouse at 9 Aero Road, Ingleburn, in Sydney’s south-west.
From the Rose and Graham families’ timber heritage beginning in 1836, through Advanced Timber and the establishment of Allied Forest Products in 2009, timber has remained part of our story for generations.
Israel Rose, born in Bedminster, England, begins timber getting, bush milling and lime production in New South Wales. His father-in-law, John Ferdinand, buys a ship to carry timber from the Hawkesbury region to Sydney.
Mary Rose, Israel’s daughter, marries Matthias Graham, owner of Graham Bros Sawmill in Inverell. Four years later Joseph Rose marries Alice Esther Graham. Graham Bros mills timber for more than a century.
Alfred Chehab, a qualified mechanical engineer, joins AW Swadling as office manager.
Jennifer Rose, Israel Rose’s second great-granddaughter, meets Alfred Chehab. Later that year, Graham Bros Sawmill closes after more than 100 years.
Jennifer and Alfred marry and found Advanced Timber. Their son Stephen joins the business in 2003.
Stephen and Kieran Chehab found Allied Forest Products to move into global sourcing and international trade. The first import containers hold Fiji mahogany decking and meranti mouldings from Indonesia.
Allied Mass Timber is founded to supply CLT and glulam with full warehousing and logistics, starting with Atlassian Central in Sydney.
Quality products, trusted relationships and a passion for the timber industry passed down through generations. Wholesale distribution with a global presence, and plans to grow into the Middle East and the USA.
Allied is committed to the responsible sourcing of timber products. All imported timber is sourced through compliant and transparent supply chains and managed in accordance with Australia’s Illegal Logging Prohibition Act 2012 and its due-diligence requirements.

Co-founder and director, specialising in sales and finance. Kieran joined the family business in 2009, the year the brothers founded Allied Forest Products, with a background in financial strategy and commercial operations.
Co-founder and director of Allied Forest Products and Allied Mass Timber, specialising in sales and operations. Stephen joined the family timber business, Advanced Timber, in 2003, with a background in timber distribution and project management. He enjoys working on special projects, from heritage restorations to Australia’s first hybrid timber tower.
