Our family’s connection to the timber industry dates back to 1836. Founded in 2009 by Stephen and Kieran Chehab, Allied combines generations of timber knowledge with global sourcing, wholesale distribution and modern construction solutions.
From engineered timber and Australian hardwood to panels, fibre cement and mass timber, we work with manufacturers, merchants, builders and major projects to get the right products where they’re needed.
Spruce LVL framing, beams, I-joists and formwork, designed by Allied. H2S treated and Weather-Guard sealed where it matters, in longer, straighter lengths than solid pine.

Co-founder and director, specialising in sales and finance. Kieran joined the family business in 2009, the year the brothers founded Allied Forest Products, with a background in financial strategy and commercial operations.
Co-founder and director of Allied Forest Products and Allied Mass Timber, specialising in sales and operations. Stephen joined the family timber business, Advanced Timber, in 2003, with a background in timber distribution and project management. He enjoys working on special projects, from heritage restorations to Australia’s first hybrid timber tower.
Allied supplied the architectural hardwood for the Sydney Modern Project, including the spotted gum timber ceiling boxes that run through the new galleries.
Atlassian Central is the world’s tallest hybrid timber tower, beside Central Station in Sydney. Delivering one of the world’s most ambitious timber buildings required a dependable supply chain and specialist logistics. Allied Mass Timber handled mass timber supply, container unpacking, warehousing, handling and delivery, called off to the construction programme.
Throughout 2021 Allied supplied the refurbishment of the Australian Museum with more than 1,300 m² of blackbutt parquetry flooring and the plywood beneath it, laid through the galleries and public spaces.
