allJOIST I-joists have a 45 mm wide flange, giving a generous nailing and gluing surface for flooring above and ceiling linings below.
H2S is a hazard-class treatment for termite protection in enclosed, above-ground framing south of the Tropic of Capricorn. It is applied to the LVL at manufacture, so framing arrives protected with no site treatment needed.
H2S does not protect against weather exposure in service. For in-ground or exposed use, ask us about H3, H4 and H5 treated hardwood.
Allied’s LVL and I-joists are up to half the weight of competing products, which means they are easier to lift, carry and place on site, with less strain on the crew and faster installation.
Weather-Guard is a factory-applied sealer that limits moisture uptake while the frame is exposed during construction, helping the timber stay straight and dimensionally stable until the roof is on.
